At ZBSCollection, we understand that every customer has their own preferences and style. Our standard heritage bags are made to order, and we also offer custom orders for customers who would like to request specific modifications to an existing design.
Custom orders may include size adjustments, colour or fabric choices, customer-supplied fabric, or other design modifications, depending on the product and what we are able to accommodate.
You can choose from our available fabrics, including Shweshwe, Ankara and other African print fabrics, or discuss the possibility of providing your own fabric for your custom order.
Our goal is to create a piece that reflects your preferences while maintaining the design, quality and craftsmanship of the original product.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Submit Your Request
Contact us with details of the product you would like to customise.
There are several ways to reach us:

Complete the contact form with your custom order request, and we will review your requirements and get back to you.
Click the WhatsApp button on our website to contact us directly about your custom order. Our team will discuss your requirements and assist you with the next steps.
📧 Email Us
Prefer email? Send your request to info@zbscollection.com and include the details of your desired product.
What to Include in Your Message
Please provide:
- Type of item, such as handbag, tote bag or laptop bag
- Product name, if applicable
- Preferred size or dimensions
- Preferred fabric or colour
- Whether you would like to provide your own fabric
- Any other design modifications you would like
- Your preferred delivery timeframe, if applicable
2. Fabric Options
You can choose from our available fabrics, including Shweshwe, Ankara and other African print fabrics.
Bring Your Own Fabric
You may also request to provide your own fabric for a custom order.
Before sending or purchasing fabric specifically for your order, please contact us first so we can confirm whether the fabric is suitable for the requested product.
We may need to assess:
- Fabric type and condition
- Available fabric quantity
- Fabric dimensions
- Suitability for the selected design
- Any additional materials required
Please do not send your fabric before we have confirmed the requirements and agreed on the custom order details.
3. Consultation & Confirmation
We will review your request and confirm whether the requested modifications are possible.
We will discuss and confirm:
- Design requirements
- Size or dimensions
- Fabric and colour
- Customer-supplied fabric, where applicable
- Price
- Estimated production timeframe
- Delivery arrangements
No custom work will begin until the details, price and requirements have been agreed upon.
4. Payment
Once your custom order has been confirmed, we will provide the applicable payment instructions.
Production will begin after payment has been received and confirmed.
Custom orders may have different pricing or production requirements depending on the requested modifications.
5. Crafting Begins
Once your order has been confirmed and payment received, we will begin creating your custom piece.
Because custom orders are made specifically according to the agreed requirements, please ensure that all details are correct before production begins.
6. Delivery
Once your custom order is completed, it will undergo a final quality check, be securely packaged and dispatched for delivery within South Africa.
The production timeframe for a custom order will be confirmed with you before the order is finalised.
Important Information
Custom orders are subject to the availability of materials and the feasibility of the requested modifications.
A request does not automatically mean that the modification can be accommodated. We will confirm what is possible before accepting the custom order.
For customer-supplied fabric, we will confirm its suitability before accepting it for use. We cannot guarantee that every fabric will be suitable for every product or design.
